San Francisco, CA, Oct 1 2009:
Dear Friends,
The Academy for Dog Trainers celebrates its 10-year anniversary thanks to the SF/SPCA’s support and investment. At this time, we would like to announce that on November 16, 2009, Jean Donaldson with Janis Bradley will begin working together to develop a new educational offering outside of the SF/SPCA. The SF/SPCA applauds Jean Donaldson and her team for the impact they have had on the lives of tens of thousands of animals across the U.S. and internationally over the last decade. The Academy for Dog Trainers and its pioneering, comprehensive education to dog trainers, behavior counselors and other companion dog professionals, and the general public has trained hundreds of trainers from around the world. More importantly, it has helped tens of thousands of dogs in homes and in shelters who have benefitted from positive reinforcement training and inspired many generations of animal lovers.
The Academy for Dog Trainers’ last class at The SF/SPCA will take place from October 5 – November 16, 2009. We thank the Academy for Dog Trainers team for their invaluable contributions, and commitment and dedication to helping save animals’ lives, and for their years of service. The entire team, under Jean’s leadership, has had an invaluable and indelible impact on the animal welfare community.
