The San Francisco SPCA would like to express our concern about the National Geographic Channel’s continued promotion of Cesar Milan ["The Dog Whisperer"], who is well known among professional dog trainers and academics in the animal behavior field as being without credentials, knowledge, professional standing or sense of ethics constraining his methods. As it is finally coming to light among the general population how Mr. Milan treats dogs in his care (and, notably, how he treats them off camera) we would encourage you, as part of an organization dedicated to science, to reconsider your affiliation with him.
