Estate Planning
We are so pleased that you are seeking information on including The San Francisco SPCA in your estate plans.
A gift from your estate, either through your will, trust, life insurance, or retirement assets, will help ensure the future of The SF SPCA’s unique programs while offering tax advantages to you and your family.
A bequest to The San Francisco SPCA can be made in the following ways:
- A percentage of your total estate
- The residue, or percentage of the residue, of your estate
- The whole estate
- A specific dollar amount
If you notify us that you have designated The SF/SPCA as a beneficiary of your will or trust, we will be delighted to welcome you to membership in our Legacy Society, a group of thoughtful people like you, who wish to ensure the welfare of animals in their planning.
We are deeply grateful to all those people who are considering, or have designated a charitable bequest to The SF/SPCA. We urge you to work with a qualified estate attorney in setting up such gifts.
Sample bequest language to discuss with your attorney:
“I give ______________(one of the four choices shown above) to The San Francisco SPCA,
2500 16th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 for its general uses and purposes.”
The San Francisco SPCA is a non-profit corporation. Our Federal Tax ID number is 94-0836580.
