CALLING ALL FOSTER PARENTS!

on how to care for your fosters!

Every year in the spring and summer months, thousands of unwanted or homeless of kittens are born, many of them ending up at our facility or at the city's Department of Animal Care and Control. The Adoption Pact between ACC and The SF SPCA enables us to try to save the lives of all underage kittens and puppies abandoned in our city's shelters. But in order to save lives we need your help!

WE NEED KITTEN FOSTER PARENTS!

The San Francisco SPCA is asking animal lovers to sign up with our Foster Parents Registry.

By doing so, you pledge to provide love, nourishment and heaping amounts of TLC to kittens and their mothers in need of a few weeks' care in your home. (We also occasionally need foster parents for puppies, as well as adult dogs and cats.)

We'll call you when a litter and mother cat are available to be fostered. The SF SPCA will provide you with food, medications if needed, and an unlimited supply of motherly advice.

When the kittens are old enough and healthy enough to be adopted -- at about eight weeks of age in most cases -- you bring them back to us and we place them all in loving homes. What could be more rewarding? Not much!
