Spring = Kids & Dogs Outside

Teach your students how
to safely interact with dogs.
Contact The San Francisco SPCA now to schedule your free dog safety presentation.

Children suffer more than half of all dog bites each year in the U.S. Fortunately, most dog bites can be prevented. The SF/SPCA Dog Safety Program teaches children how to meet a dog, when to avoid dogs, and what to do when you see a loose dog.

"Dog Talk" is a 30 min. presentation on bite prevention with supplemental materials including an illustrated Dog Safety Poster, Dog Safety Coloring Book (Grades K-2), Activity Booklet (Grades 3-5), and a Bite Prevention Guide for Parents (available in English and Spanish).

"We love it! ... Kids need to know about this. So do adults!"
- Judith Rosen, Principal, Jefferson Elementary School.

A Dog Safety Packet for your school is in the mail addressed to your principal. Please take advantage of the enclosed informative poster, brochure, article, and flyer for distribution.
