PUPPY PLAYGROUP
DROP-IN CLASS

A one hour drop-in class for puppies aged 10 to 18 weeks. A great opportunity for your pup to learn social skills with other puppies in a safe and supervised environment. Please pre-register so that we can prepare accordingly for each class. To pre-register, e-mail DogTraining@sfspca.org or call (415) 522-3509. Leave your name, phone number, email, your pup's name, breed, and age/date of birth. Pay fee by phone (with credit card), in person at the SF/SPCA Adoption Desk, or at the door of class (cash or check). Come with your puppy and bring his/her vaccination records. $15.00 per class.

Course prerequisites: Puppies must be under 18 weeks of age and have received their first 2 DHLPP vaccinations.

PUPPY MANNERS
6-WEEK SERIES

Puppies need to be under 16 weeks of age at the class start date. This class meets once a week for one hour for 6 weeks. The class fee for puppies adopted from a shelter or rescue group within the last six months is $150.

This class is 6 weeks of puppy fun! Puppies will learn general manners such as sit, down, coming when called, and playing nicely with others. We will also answer important questions like, "How do I keep my puppy from peeing on the floor?", "How do I get my puppy to stop chewing on the couch?", and "How do I teach my puppy not to jump on people?" Puppy class is the most important class your dog will every take! It's the perfect way to teach our little guys how to behave when they're not so little any more. Fee is $180. If your dog was adopted from a shelter or rescue group within the last six months, the fee is $150 (please show adoption paperwork to receive the discount). Class includes handbook and clicker.

Course prerequisites: Puppies must be under 16 weeks of age and have received their first 2 DHLPP vaccinations.

PUPPY INTERMEDIATE
(aka the "Terrible Twos")

This is a continuation of the Puppy Manners Class. You will continue your work on your dog's socialization, basic obedience and, impulse control. Placement commands such as "get in your crate," "go lie down," and more structured off-leash play are part of the curriculum. Attendance at all six sessions is required. There is much to do, so please bring your puppy to the first class! Fee is $155.

Course prerequisites: Completion of Puppy Manners or proof of equivalent (Puppy class at Sirius or Perfect Paws); dogs must be under 10 months of age and spayed or neutered.

ADOLESCENT MANNERS
For the Older Puppy that Missed Puppy Manners

For dogs 5 months to 7 months old that missed out on Puppy Manners but still need to learn socialization, recall, sit, and more. Housetraining, chewing, jumping, and other adolescent behaviors will be covered. We'll even introduce your dog to the sport of agility. Attendance at all six classes is required. The first class is a mandatoy, humans-only orientation. Please leave your pup at home, but bring proof of his/her rabies vaccination. Fee is $180. If your dog was adopted from a shelter or rescue group within the last six months, fee is $150 (please show adoption paperwork to receive discount). Class includes handbook and clicker.

Course prerequisites: Dogs must be between the ages of 5 and 7 months old and be up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies.
