Building Independence

Does your dog shiver, pant, jump, whine or bark every time you try to leave him? This course is designed to help you teach your dog to be more independent. You will learn how to ease separation anxiety in a variety of situations by using simple tools and practicing rewarding exercises.

Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 3 weeks

Class includes: Relevant Handouts and Certificate of Completion

Fees: $150 for a 3 week series

Location: 243 Alabama Street

Instructors: Kim & Erika

Course prerequisites: Dogs must be 3 months of age or older, able to be handled gently by a friendly stranger, and able to work safely around people and other dogs on leash. Your dog should be able to sit on command and walk with a Gentle Leader, easy walk harness or flat collar. Please bring a mat and high-value treats (toys or snacks).
