Online Cat Behavior Library

At the San Francisco SPCA we are committed to making San Francisco a city of safe, happy, well-behaved cats and responsible cat owners. We are also dedicated to helping pets stay in loving homes. Our Behavior and Training Department offers a broad range of educational programs and services. The goal is to help the public understand cat behavior and to assist people in training their cats and dealing with common behavior problems.

'Tabby Tell All'
Cat Behavior Class

On the last Saturday of every month, The SF/SPCA offers a cat behavior class called Tabby Tell All in the Solarium at Maddies Pet Adoption Center, 250 Florida St. If you would like to attend, you must reserve a space by calling 415-522-3525. No fee is required, but donations of any amount are appreciated.

Cat Claw
Clipping Clinic

Are you looking for an easy and inexpensive way to have your cat's nails trimmed? Then come to the SF/SPCA's Cat Claw Clipping Clinic. It is held from 10-11AM the first Sunday of every month. The cost is $10 for the front paws and $15 for all claws. Come to the SF/SPCA Hospital's Cat Entrance at 2500-16th St. Your cat must be in a carrier. For more info call 522-3525.
