Puppy Adoptions at the San Francisco SPCA

Thank you for your interest in adopting a puppy from the San Francisco SPCA!

As you know, all puppies are different. A puppy's personality, breed, activity level, size when full grown, temperament, special physical and emotional needs and background are all taken into consideration when determining the type of home the puppy will thrive in. It is also important for adopters to have a dog who best fits their lifestyle -- not just as a puppy but for its entire life, which is likely to be 12 years or longer. Our goal is to find the best match for everyone!

If you've got the time, energy and patience to help puppies grow up to be wonderful dogs, read "Puppy Adoptions at the San Francisco SPCA." Then come to The SF/SPCA and fill out a puppy adoption questionnaire.

Puppy Adoption Fees: - Young Dog (under 6 months): $225 (SF residents will pay an addition $14 license fee.)

(Please note that, although we try to keep the available animals on our site current,
some may have found loving homes.)
