I'm a bit scared with all the changes in my life. I'm not used to the world around me. I will need an experienced adopter to help me build confidence and become a great canine citizen. Please be aware that in order to adopt an animal you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have valid photo identification with your current address, if photo id does not have your current address please bring a piece of mail with your address on it.

Be allowed to have a pet where you live.

Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the pet.

Bring along any family members resident in your house, including dogs or children, for an introduction to a new dog.

Understand that The SF/SPCA reserves the right to deny any adoption for any reason.

Many adoptions will take approximately 1 hour or more. For all applications presented to the adoption desk past 5pm we can not guarantee we will be able to process the adoption nor will we be able to hold the animal.
