Sydney
I can tell you that I'm a country girl at heart. I'm a two-year-old brown & white Australian Shepherd-mix girl doggy weighing 50lbs. Born to roam the Outback, it's hard to adjust to city life. For me, the best thing in the world would be to live in a rural setting, someplace with lots of space for me to run around on. If your kids are 13+ and you live out there where the trees are plentiful and the lamposts are far apart, I'm the dog you've been looking for!

| Benny
I'm a bit scared with all the changes in my life. I'm not used to the world around me. I will need an experienced adopter to help me build confidence and become a great canine citizen. I will do best in a quiet, low traffic home with respectful adults over 17. I would like to go to a home with another dog. I will be a great companion but it will take some time, patience and lots of positive training.
Come to The SF/SPCA, 2500-16th St. to meet Benny #A001837.

| Pippin
Hi my name is Pippin and I have LOVE to give but lots of ENERGY to burn! I'm a one-year-month-old black and white Labrador-mix boy doggy weighing 42lbs.
I can go for hours can you? I am looking for an owner that will take me to lots of fun exciting places so I can expend my puppy energy! Do you have the time and energy it takes to raise a PUPPY? Then
ask a staff memeber to come in and visit with me! Kids 13+

| Jack
I'm Jack the hound. I'm a four-year-old white and tan boy Hound doggy weighing 44lbs. Let me sniff your pant hems and follow you home. I'm a rompin' rascal who loves playing hard, then relaxing hard. I do love to talk. It's in my nature. You might want to read up on the whole hound scene. But with some Real World training and some daily off-leash fun I should be a happy hound. Kids over ten due to my exuberance.

| Emily
Sweet?, cute?, midsized? Here I am! I'm a three-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever-mix girl doggy weighing 54lbs. I'm a nice lab looking for a new family to share my love with. I'm hoping for children in the home to be at least 7 because I can still be a little timid sometimes. I can't wait to go to doggy training classes because labs are really smart you know. I'm still learning to share my space here with other dogs so would prefer to be the only dog in the household right now.

| Apollo
My name is Apollo and I am ready to rocket out of here. I'm a 10-month-old black and tan Hound-mix boy doggy weighing 63lbs. I am a simple hound with simple needs: a safe and loving home, a friend to take me to fun kinds of places, regular meals, and belly rubs. I'll be the most grateful mutt in town. I would be especially grateful if you would take me to a training class. I have a mensa nose but I don't know much of the basic stuff. Kids should be 13 or over due to my size and energy level.

| Spunky
Hi my name is Spunky, and Spunky is my nature! I am a sweet natured gal who loves the company of my humans. I'm a one-year-old black Chow Chow-mix girl doggy weighing 56lbs. I would love to go to doggie classes to learn more doggie obedience. I am an intelligent curious girl who already knows sit and down and I walk pretty nice on leash. I am an active girl who would love walks on the beach and romps in the park!

| Harriet
Hi my name is Harriet and I am a go go go gal who loves fetch and loves to play frisbee. I'm a two-year-four-month-old red merle and white Queensland heeler-mix girl doggy weighing 48lbs. I would do best outside of the city in a more rural area. I am an affectionate loving girl with people but I don't always like to
be around other dogs. I would love to just go to a quiet area with you and play frisbee or ball for hours. I prefer to be the only animal in the house. Kids 17+ due to my energy level

| Robin
I'm Robin...princess Robin to you. I would adore a silk pillow and some filet mignon. In lieu of that I'll take a fleece mat and a bowl of Iams. I was born to be in the lap of luxury, and if that's your lap then i'm there! I'm a four-year-old white and black Terrier-mix girl doggy weighing 15lbs. I'm a smartiepants and can out-trick a fox if given the chance. That's why you'll be sure to take me to a small dog training class where i'll show up all the rest of those mini mutts. And one last thing: I want to be the only canine child in the house, so you can spoil me rotton! Kids over ten only.

| Tag
TAG, You're IT! I'm ready to play in your playground. I'm ready to sleep in your bedroom. I'm ready to live in your livingroom. You can't imagine all the fun and good times we'll have together! I'm a two-year-old white and black Dalmatian-mix boy doggy weighing 48lbs. I want to be your playmate and your best friend. I want to be a model canine citizen, so we can be about town together. Take me to a reward based training class at the SPCA and we'll build a foundation for a lifelong relationship. I jump when I'm happy so kids should be over 13.

| Willie
Hiya! I'm Willie...Wee Willie Winkle, one of a kind terrier, and I'm ready to be the star of your life story! I'm a three-year-old white and black Terrier-mix boy doggy weighing 14lbs. I'll work for toys, scrumptious bits, and love. I'm very agile and quick, so think about an agility or flyball class to really show me off. I like kids (over ten) and cats, and I am truly a social butterfly.
What more could you possibly need to know?

| Jordie
I'm Jordie and I want to be your shepherd. I'm a one-year-old brown German Shepherd-mix girl doggy weighing 53lbs. I'll guide you through life's ups and downs, and devote myself to your well being. I really love people. I think you guys are the best infact I much prefer your company than the company of other canines. I'd rather not be around them. So if you have a home outside the city or far from the bark of other dogs I may just be the perfect match. I'm young but very mature for my age. My aptitude for learning sits, downs, and stays is way above average. And, not to state the obvious, I'm beautiful! Kids in household should be 13 and over.

| Polly Anna
Don't be misled by my name. I am a very good girl, but I am not saccharine sweet. I am just a girl looking for a my own little corner of my own little room. I'm a three-year-old black Labrador Retriever-mix girl doggy weighing 66lbs. I know i'm long in someplaces and short in others but to some eyes I am very shapely. So if you see my external qualities, please come get to know my internal ones. I'm a flower ready to blossom. I just need to be watered with daily doses of love, petting, walks, and training. Thanks for noticing me. I'd love to make your acquaintance! Kids are great as long as their over ten.

| Quimby
My name is Quimby and I am a silly bouncy happy fella who's stuck in a shelter when I really need a home. I'm a one-year-old black Labrador Retriever-mix boy doggy weighing 61lbs. Here's the thing: If I had my druthers I'd be matched with a triathlete cause i'm BURSTING with energy. Swimming, running, cycling, you name it, I can keep up. So if your a guy or gal on the go--maybe you camp, hike, or heck, even snow shoe, then you'll surely want to have me along side. I am also in need of an experienced dog guardian. So if you have recent dog experience, we may be a match. I am a huge fan of Kongs and food balls and can amuse myself (and you) for hours playing with them. I'm also an apt pupil. Take me to a Real World class or even agility at the SPCA so I can expend my energy and learn at the same time! I need some training right now, so a home with children at least 13 years old will be best.

So if you are an active owner and are looking for a dog that can keep up with you then I may be the one. I love romps on the beach and hikes along the beautiful trails. I will need to go to doggie school to learn my manners but I am eager to learn and eager to please. Kids 17+

| Mahoney
Hey dudes, check me out! The name's Mahoney and i'm all kinds of fun. I'm an 11-month-old chocolate Labrador Retriever-mix boy doggy weighing 49lbs. I'm a life lover. Nothing gives me more joy than bounding through the dunes or dog parks, being your best buddy, and sharpening up my mind at dog school. You are that special someone with a great sense of humor, an outdoorsy side, and the desire to live life to the fullest. Surf and turf, I'm the doggy for you! Kids over 17 only thanks.

| Oscar
Oscar the grouch? That ain't me at all! In fact, I'm totally the opposite. I'm a real nice guy and I love people. I'm a fifteen-month-old tan and white German Shepherd-mix boy doggy weighing 41lbs. I am a star fetcher and will play ball as long as you are willing to toss it. I love running, and would love to be adopted by a jogger. I can keep up with you during a marthon even. I think other dogs are ok, but don't really need their company. I would rather play ball, and it's getting to be baseball season, I'll catch those balls as you hit them out of the park! My ideal home would be with children at least 13 where I get lots of exercise and plenty of love.

I like to go, go, go, and I don't really care what it is I'm actually doing as long as I can keep on the move. Training sounds good. So does running on the beach or playing with my doggy friends at the park. If you live an active lifestyle and are looking for a fun companion to share it with than let's please get together. I'm 40 pounds, but not full grown yet. Children in my home need to be at least 13+

| Hunter
I'm a sweet and sensitive boy who is looking for a loving family commited to helping me gain confidence. I'm a nine-month-old sable and tan German Shepherd-mix boy doggy weighing 42lbs. I would love to go to dog school and learn some basic obedience. I can get easily overwhelmed by dogs, but I like to run and play with dogs who are gentle like I am. Because I'm a bit shy I'd do best if children in the home were at least 10.

I'm ready to romp around on the beach or the dog park or the Oakland hills. I'm happy to play and play and play! So if you are playful and are looking for a sweet big girl for a companion then I'm the one! I don't have any training so I need to rush right out to a Basic Obedience class at the SPCA.
