Missing Dog Found

San Francisco, Mar 7 2010: The San Francisco SPCA is thrilled to announce that Cassidy, the puppy taken from Maddie’s Adoption Center on Wednesday, has been found.

An SFPD officer saw a dog that looked like Cassidy being walked by a man in the general vicinity of the SFSPCA earlier today. The officer phoned the SFSPCA and a staff member identified the dog on the spot,  where it was confirmed that she was the missing puppy. No charges will be filed in the case.

Cassidy is infected with the small intestinal disease giardia and she is now getting the care and medical treatment she needs. She will be available for adoption when she recovers.

The San Francisco SPCA thanks the SFPD, the media and the community for helping us find Cassidy.
